		<description>Deliverable: Logo re-design for three brands (blogworks, scenario and indiasocial) under the same identity system. 

This was a great design challenge for us, to be able to device a common thread combining all brands under one umbrella, yet allowing them a life of their own. Each logo starts with a distinctive shape of a hexagon inscribed within which is the initial of that particular brand. A diagonally upwards pointing arrow is a part of the unit, depicting the fact that each of these brands are future-forward. 

For each logo, the logo-unit is retained in its position while the elements that change are the alphabet initial within and its colour. 

The designed units are also used as images for all profile or thumbnail images of the brands. Through this, the logo lends itself to various different platforms, and at the same time retains uniformity across brands. 

Below is a slideshow of the logos in their digital forms, as well as their adaptations on the business card, letterheads and envelope.

Kusla Tikuria is a small thoughtful rest-eat stop midway between Khajuraho and Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh. Set against the backdrop of a very characteristic flat-top hill this little place boasts of great home cooked organic food in a welcoming atmosphere. The menu changes everyday and what's more? When you eat there (or stay, in future) you also aid in the conservation of the surrounding forest area.

Tikuria, locally means 'little hill' and Kusla is the name of the hill.

For the logo, taking the backdrop of the shape of the hill we have used the elements of trees and cutlery to talk about preservation and food.

Mercury Group is an international supply chain business.  Registered in Hong Kong the group has operations in Mainland China, the predominant market for heavy electrical and speciality chemicals being the US and India.

The brief for the logo was to create a symbol that represents Mercury, the god of trade. The element of a winged helmet has been used, but shown as more abstract shape. The staff which is also often associated with Mercury has been used horizontally, separating the two words.

foreword.in a concise, analytical record of what’s happening in the book publishing business in India – and elsewhere.

The brief was to create a very simple logo based on type, with some infusion of the context within which this website operates. Books being the most obvious choice, we did not want to create a very direct connect, and hence, made the 'w' look like a book, with a red page flipping over.

afaqs! Reporter (previously The Brand Reporter), a fortnightly magazine, offers an in-depth coverage of the state of the media, advertising and marketing industries. A publication from afaqs!, it brings news and razor sharp analyses from happenings across these industries and covers topics like trends, category news, case studies, international summary, sales promotions, interviews, profiles and many more interesting things.

tiffinbox was commissioned in May 2009 to illustrate their magazine covers. Till May 2011, we have worked on 36 issues, including two special issues.
